Odyssey Air
Odyssey Airlines is for the adventurous. It has great prices for long, nonstop trips, and great service along the way. The seats are made for the long trips and the food is both delicious and reasonably priced. The name stems from the adventures of Odysseus in the sea of monsters. This myth is a tale full of excitement on the way to a destination. The Greeks understood the importance of travel in a hero’s journey. They knew that the adventure doesn’t start at the destination, it starts as soon as you set out your door. The aim of this airline is to make your trip the best trip it can be from the moment you depart to the moment you return home.
Process
I started with 50 Sketches of various options. All options stem from the Greek theme or the story of The Odyssey.

The 5 best options were then vectorized and the best one was refined. The shield design that was chosen was based on Spartan shields.
Next, I explored color options with the theme in mind. The red and yellow options which were chosen are based on Spartan colors. The blue options are based on Athenian dyes.
The last thing I did to create this cohesive brand is create a pattern. The star from the logo was used in a lot of the patterns explored. Eventually they were simplified to just the star in varied sizes.
